Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Julian celebrated 50th anniversary

Hershel and Barbara Julian of Roan Mountain celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 18, 2011.

They were married on June 18, 1961 by the Rev. Carroll Sisk.

The couple are the parents of two sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Connie Julian of Roan Mountain and Brad and Kera Julian of Charlotte, N.C.

They have seven grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Laura, Jared, Andrew, Jonah and Lincoln Julian.
