Mr. and Mrs. S.D. Hughes celebrate 50th anniversary

S.D. and Betty Hughes, 147 Herm Barnett Road, Roan Mountain, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today, April 22, 2012.

Mrs. Hughes is the former Betty Faye Eggers.

The couple are the parents of a son, Eddie Hughes, and daughter-in-law, Lori Hughes.
