Happy Valley High School will hold new student registration, starting at 8:30 a.m. In addition, the school will conduct freshman orientation at 1 p.m.

The Carter County Humane Society will meet at 6 p.m. at Doe River Baptist Church.

The Elizabethton Senior Dance Club will hold a dance at the Elizabethton Elks Lodge, No. 1847, 1000 N. Sycamore St., from 7 to 10 p.m. Music will be provided by the Rambling Rose Band. Those attending are asked to bring finger foods to share. There is a $6 door charge.

The Carter County Democratic Party Executive Committee and Carter County Democratic Women will hold their annual picnic and quarterly meeting at Rotary Pavilion across from Tetrick Funeral Home. The Executive Meeting will take place at 11 a.m. followed by a picnic at 12:30 p.m. The Democratic Women will provide chicken. If able, please bring a dish to share. All Democrats are invited.

The Hampton-Fair-Honeycutt Family Reunion will be held at 1 p.m. at the Centerview Annex.Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish to share. For more information, call 542-4809.
