The Roan Mountain 12-Step Group of Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. at Magill Presbyterian Church, 296 Highway 143, Roan Mountain.
The Elizabethton Senior Citizens Center will host a Hawaiian luau/dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Everyone is welcome. The center is located at 428 E. G St., Elizabethton. Music will be provided by DJs Jerry and Lisa, who will offer a variety of music for all types of dancing. Cost is $5 per person. Please bring refreshments to share. Wear your colorful clothing or grass skirt. A free lei is available for everyone at the door.
Sycamore Shoals Hospital will hold a Uniform Sale (Read’s Uniforms) from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the SSH Classrooms A&B. The sale is sponsored by SSH Volunteers and Auxiliary. All proceeds benefit patients and their families.
The Elizabethton Senior Dance Club will hold a dance at the Elizabethton Elks Lodge, No. 1847, 1000 N. Sycamore St., from 7 to 10 p.m. Music will be provided by the Rambling Rose Band. Those attending are asked to bring finger foods to share. There is a $6 door charge.

The Carter County Democratic Party Executive Committee and Carter County Democratic Women will hold their annual picnic and quarterly meeting at Rotary Pavilion across from Tetrick Funeral Home. The Executive Meeting will take place at 11 a.m. followed by a picnic at 12:30 p.m. The Democratic Women will provide chicken. If able, please bring a dish to share. All Democrats are invited.
