Gas prices fall 5 cents in Tennessee during past week

Average retail gasoline prices in Tennessee have fallen 5.2 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.53 per gallon Sunday. This compares with the national average that has fallen 2.4 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.79 per gallon according to the gasoline price website TennesseeGasPrices.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Tennessee during the past week, prices yesterday were 31.7 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 12.6 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 0.8 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 33.2 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
