Odom hopeful work with Relay will help promote cancer studies

For Charity Odom, there’s hardly any aspect of her life that has gone untouched by cancer.

Not only is she a survivor of ovarian cancer, but other family members and friends have experienced their own cancer battles. Her grandparents battled cancer, and her father-in-law died from the disease.

Even before her own cancer diagnosis, Odom was involved with the Carter County Relay for Life, the major fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
