Sheriff Chris Mathes confirmed a fire broke out Tuesday around 7 p.m. at 311 Blevins Hollow Road in Stoney Creek. Mathes and an arson investigator went to the scene shortly after the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department found the mobile home fully involved in flames.

Several units from area fire departments and the Carter County Rescue Squad also responded to the scene. The mobile home and a separate structure were destroyed by the fire.
