Cynthia Ann Andes pleaded guilty Thursday in Carter County Criminal Court to seventh offense DUI and third offense driving on a revoked license. A felony evading arrest charge was dismissed by Judge Robert Cupp.

On Feb. 2, Deputy Shane Watson, who drives a rare Volkswagen Beetle police cruiser with a “12 1/2” car number decal, was at the Carter County Courthouse when a man approached him and pointed to a gray Dodge truck. The man said the truck was being driven all over the road and almost struck several vehicles.
